Paying for Obama’s Worldwide Genocide: Where the ‘change’ is going.

February 20, 2009

The Feb. 8-14 issue of the  National Catholic Register reports that “one of the first major actions of President Barack Obama — as he promised — was to sign an executive order officially reversing the Mexico City policy begun by Ronald Reagan and preserved by George W. Bush.” (Note: This policy was actually preserved by George H. Bush, reversed by Clinton, and restored by George W. Bush.)  The NCR states, “That policy ensured that U.S. taxpayer funding could not go to international groups that promote and perform abortions overseas. So, for the 54% of Catholics who voted for Obama for ‘change’, they will now certainly get it: Their ‘change,’ specifically their tax dollars, will go directly to the killing of unborn babies worldwide.”

It obviously isn’t enough that the Obama administration wants to declare war on the unborn in America, (with the threatened “Freedom of Choice Act” - so called), we have to export  this racial genocide as well? And it IS racial — most of this funding is going to African nations, just as most of the unborn babies aborted in THIS country are African-American. No less a voice than Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King Jr, declared: “The accomplishment of an African-American holding the nations highest office will be of little value if the black community continues to be destroyed by the horrible plague of abortion.” (NCR, Jan 18-24, see also Blackgenocide.org)

How the first African-American president, whose ascendency to the highest office in the land was seen as the fruit of the Civil Rights movement, can NOT understand that the unborn have a civil “right to life” is the most tragic of ironies.

So, how do we keep the tax dollars of Catholics, and other pro-life Christians, from supporting abortion and racial genocide at home and abroad?

Simple.

Refuse to pay taxes.

Refuse to pay taxes, and be willing to suffer imprisonment for it. “But,” someone will say, “didn’t Jesus teach us to render unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar?” Yes, and here’s the rub; the coin might be Caesar’s, but the unborn child in the womb belongs to God. We give Caesar his coin ONLY when he promises to keep his knives away from our unborn children, children that belong to God.

Forty years ago the Civil Rights marchers were willing to suffer beatings and imprisonment in order to shame the nation into recognizing the civil rights of African-Americans. Are we willing to suffer the same?  Let us take to the streets, not just one day in DC, where the liberal media can pretend we don’t exist, but every day, in every city, protesting and marching on city halls and state capitols, hospitals and abortion clinics. Let us withold funding from the purveyors of racial genocide, in this country and around the globe.

There are roughly 65 million Catholics in the country, and many millions of pro-life Evangelicals. They can’t jail us all.

“…until every human being created in the image and likeness of God is protected in law and cared for in life, we shall not weary, we shall not rest. And, in this the great human rights struggle of our time and all times, we shall overcome.” Fr. Richard John Neuhaus
